About Tyler
Tyler Hastings is a working Film/Television and Theatre actor, originally from Murrieta, California and is currently based out of New York City. Tyler is a masters candidate at University of Nevada, Las Vegas, receiving his B.A. degree from San Diego State University with a Theatre Arts emphasis and a Television, Film, and New Media Minor. Tyler most recently portrayed Peter Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank at the newly constructed Smith Center, in the heart of downtown Las Vegas. Tyler thrives on developing new work, and particularly has a deep admiration for literary figures, collaborating on numerous projects including: multiple voice and movement abstractions based on beloved poet Sylvia Plath, and an original diversionary project celebrating Mark Twain’s Centenary Tribune (Tom and Huck and Jim) at the renowned San Diego State University Theatre. Past credits also include: performances in Australia, Adelaide’s Fringe Festival and Young Scrooge in A Christmas Carol directed by Brad Carroll.
